In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

 

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

                                                     وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَهَا

By the Sun and her splendor.

                                           وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلهَا

By the Moon as he follows her.

                                         وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلهَا

By the daylight as it brightens.

                                        وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا

By the Night as it covers.

                                        وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا

By the sky and its structure.

                                    وَالأرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا

By the land and her expanse.

                                       وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا

By the Soul, and her balance.

                                فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا

And its inspiration of the wrong and the right.

                                       قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا

Indeed, success belongs to the one who purifies her.

                                   وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا

And indeed the failure belongs to the one who corrupts her.

                                   كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا

Thamoud rejected it rebelliously.

 

6053 3310 456 404 12

                                         إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا

It only brought out the worst in them.

                 فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا

However, the Messenger of God2687 had told them; it is God2688’s camel, so water her.

   فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا

But, they rejected him, and they maimed her, therefore their Lord wiped them out for their sin, and then he established the balance.

                                       وَلا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا

And they never feared its consequences.
